I am Bin Xu, Assistant Professor of Sociology in the Department of Sociology at Emory University.
My research interests are at the intersection of social theory, cultural sociology, and political sociology. I am particularly interested in collective memory, cultural sociology of civic life, disaster research, symbolic politics, and social movements.
